Youth Capacities development Association founded in 2012 (YCD) was inspired by a group of students, the NGO was created by students, mainly university students and graduated as well as fresh graduated high school students. Our programs help the next generation of youth to gain a stronger sense of civic responsibility. YCD Association focuses on specific themes, ranging from civic participation and volunteerism to leadership development through activism and education, we focus on youth empowerment and strengthen the role of actors to take actions and make the youth voices heard locally and then internationally. Our association envisages a new community on which youth are empowered: learn, lead, and innovate for a positive change. And promote the global citizenship of young people in Algeria. YCD believe that young people are the ultimate solution for their faced obstacles. YCD want to create common understanding on concepts and challenges to Rise-up the social-cultural thinking and dialogue for young people in the local area.
