Organization's vision and mission

Formed in the wake of the Tunisian revolution, the collective of Young Democrats Independents consists of 12 young Tunisians living in Tunisia, mostly students, who have chosen different paths (law, medicine, cinema, languages, sciences) but share the civic and democratic values, as well as some involvement in civil society. E ffect, most of us are, to varying degrees, active in academic associations and clubs, which allows us to have a certain visibility among civil society. Why this project: The joint project was born a sense of misunderstanding and misinformation manifested shared by all Tunisian youth in early 2011 full of emotions. We noticed that most of the 18-30 years suddenly showed great interest in the political countries, but that the political disinterest and very large unreliability of media censorship which the dictatorship had accustomed us that the knowledge required to understand the information, often criticized, is not always granted. as of other words, it is a youth lost in a maze policy becoming more sinuous each day that the revolution has lifted the curtain. what are our objectives: given the importance of the Tunisian youth, the role it played during the revolution and its demographic weight, it has to “protect” this revolution, consolidating some gains and concretizing its claims. It is in this light that the IADB will give the mission the following objectives: -Inform young people about what is happening in our country, not only politically, but also socioeconomic -Complete youth political education by providing comprehensive documentation and synthesized on key concepts to master (human Rights , freedom of expression, political systems, democracy, secularism, citizenship ..) Sensitize youth on issues of this revolution, the role they can play in the political arena and in civil society and civic values democratic and that it has put forward to encourage them to continue to be interested in the political life of their country -Play the role of intermediary between youth and politicians to send youth voice to those need to listen implementation: our main communication interface is the site http://jid-tunisie.org/ , it allows us to generate interactivity necessary for the realization of our project. to get the job done in optimal conditions, harmonious and orderly, our group is divided into several work teams, in permanent collaboration: Investigation Team Editorial Team Team Creation and Communication Administration Team . The presidency of our collective is rotating to fill our objectives, we use very different media: articles, videos, interviews, surveys, polls, etc … Our main motivation is to make the policy becomes one of the centers of interest of each young Tunisian, as was if during the revolution that Tunisia today can finally look like the one we, young Tunisians free and ambitious, wish to live.
